Old Port Montreal engagement
Jonathan and Ashley went for a classy, elegant and stylish Old Port Montreal engagement photos. With a bright fuchsia pair of heels that would be sure of make their photos stand out. I love when couples select their clothing carefully for their session. It is after all a visual representation of how you view yourself in the world. The confidence that comes from wearing the right clothes is immense. In fact, whenever I photograph couples, I love to dress up as well. They opted for the Old Port as a backdrop for their Montreal engagement photos. For that choice, I couldn't had been happier. Even thought I am known for being a photographer who loves nature, I've come to appreciate architecture. The clean lines, the grander and all the stories it holds. Since photographing an old school chic Montreal wedding last June, I knew I wanted to come back here again.Being an Ottawa wedding photographer, It is always a pleasure to travel for amazing and genuine couples. This Old Port Montreal engagement was no exception. When I asked them to slow dance, they danced without hesitation. They had perfect rhythm and their connection was undeniable. Having been friends for years before they fell in love, you can feel how comfortable they are with each other. Jonathan and Ashley were referred to me by one of my brides who's Vintage Montreal wedding happened almost year ago. Jumping out of excitement was in order. This being my first engagement session of the season, I couldn't had imagine it better. Most of all, I had the best time with a couple I love dearly.
