They met through mutual friends and started talking on an evening out. Sometimes the most simple hellos ends up changing absolutely everything. This is what happened to Alexandre and Stephanie. Their love story leads us to their old school chic Montreal wedding. I was the lucky Ottawa wedding photographer who got to shoot it because of Joey and Madison. A past bride and groom who had referred me. After I photographed their chateau saint ambroise wedding. I can't express enough gratitude when this happens. The decision of going to Montreal's old port was a spontaneous one. Not knowing a lot of Montreal I wasn't sure what to expect. I never thought Montreal could look this magical and old fashioned. At loft hotel, bridesmaids and groomsmen gave their speeches. I have never been to a wedding where speeches were less than two minutes each and instantly made everyone cry. Billy, one of the groomsmen never made it to the first word of his speech. It was so incredible to witness how much they had love for one another. How much their friendship meant. The bride and groom had their first dance to Ed Sheeran's song 'Perfect'. Alexandre and Stephanie, what a night ! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
