OTTAWA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
I book up to two years in advance.
Do I have your date available?
My Process
-
If you love my work and I have your date available, we’ll meet up via an online video chat. To book a date in my calendar, I ask for a non-refundable retainer of $1000. As well as a signed contract.
-
When all is official, we get to plan a fun daytime date for your engagement session! This way, we’ll get to know each other better and you’ll see how I work.
-
If you don’t have a wedding planner, I love to help my brides with the logistics. I help you build your perfect timeline for your day. Making sure that we have enough time and natural light.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
My aesthetic is naturally lit photographs in a bright, airy and clean style.
-
I’m subtle but engaged. Due to the nature of wedding days, sometimes I give directions while other times I let things unfold naturally.
-
Since we’re in the digital era, wedding guest decorum has greatly changed in the past decade. Although it is my preference for my clients to have an unplugged ceremony, I don’t impose it. When I work in ceremonies where iPhones and iPads are permitted, I don’t get any good reaction shots from the family. Because their phones are raised in front of their faces. Something to think about.
-
Yes. Every photo you get is edited in the same manner as all the photos on my website and Instagram are.
-
6 to 8 weeks after your wedding day.
-
I send all your images through a private online gallery in an email. At the click of a button, you can download all your images in your computer.
-
My camera has two memory card slots. I use both memory cards at the same time. This means, I have a back up copy of every single photo. When I arrive home, I put all your photos on my computer and in an external hard-drive. While you’re dancing at your reception, I have four different backups of your wedding day. I have never had a corrupted card or lost any photos.
