Experimental Farm Engagement

Nick and Haley got to know my work through their friends Derrick and Tamika. Who’s Bean town ranch wedding I shot last May. I have to admit, I danced in my living room when I saw their wedding inquiry in my inbox. Nick and Haley are absolutely a joy to be around. Spending time with them was a complete dream during their Experimental farm engagement in Ottawa.

The outfits for their engagement session couldn’t had been better. From the quaint and carefree feel of Haley’s 1861 boutique dress to Nick’s perfect colour match and really cool shoes. Their charming and old-world style matched the experimental farm and dominion arboretum of Ottawa very well. As an Ottawa wedding photographer, I love how this place has so many possibilities.

It is not an experimental farm engagement without a few photos in front of the greenhouse. Afterwards Haley told me she wanted a barefoot running shot, I was happy dancing inside. I'm always in to try anything. I'm beyond happy with the result. I honestly cannot wait for their Temple's sugar bush wedding this fall.
