Ottawa fashion stylist
A while back, I shared on Instagram a few goals I had for my business. Like photograph a city hall wedding in New-York city, photograph an album cover, book more destination weddings and collaborate with an Ottawa fashion stylist.I’m a big believer in saying out loud what I want out of life. You just never know how it will manifest it self. Lyne found me through a referral. Having graduated a stylist at ‘L’academie avec style’, she needed photos for her new website. Being a new Ottawa fashion stylist, her style can be described as classic, contemporary and elegant. She had carefully selected beautiful outfits that complimented her so well. We did her shoot in a gorgeous bedroom with so much natural light that I did a happy dance. This makes all the difference if you want your photos as bright and airy as possible. I came home so inspired with the results of this branding session. As an Ottawa wedding photographer, parts of what I photograph are components of fashion. I love to start a wedding day photographing all the bride’s details. Her dress, shoes, jewelry etc. It really says a lot about her personality and also sets the tone for the rest of the day.I heard in a movie somewhere that fashion is art that walks. I love that the art form of fashion is fabric, cut and colour through movement. I am not a fashionista by nature. But I do have an interest in the history behind what we wear what we wear. My favourite fashion moment in a movie is in the last scene of The Devil Wears Prada. When Anne Hathaway walks through the streets of New-york in her leather jacket, brown boots and black turtleneck. You just know that what she is wearing is exactly who she is in that moment in time. That’s what gives me chills about fashion.
