Fairmont Banff springs wedding
Fairmont banff springs is called the castle of the rockies and I have to admit it bares its name right. Walking in the luxury hotel is nothing sort of stunning. From the mountain views to the ballrooms, it is a jaw dropping Banff wedding venue. Stephanie and Myles had a Fairmont Banff springs wedding. But also a destination Banff wedding as they are from Windsor Ontario. The bride was given the idea of a destination wedding by her aunt. Her aunt thought of sun, drinks and Bora Bora. Stephanie thought of Banff and mountains. Being an Ottawa wedding photographer who is also a world wide destination wedding photographer, I was so thrilled to pack my bags for Alberta! We had their Lake Minnewanka engagement just two days before their wedding. Surrounded by their families, they said I do in the Angus room. Then we headed off to surprise corner viewpoint. It is tradition at a Fairmont Banff springs wedding for the bride and groom to take photos with the castle in the background. We finished their bride and groom portraits at the outdoor terrace ceremony overlooking the mountains of Fairmont. A view that was so breathtaking even with the fog!Lastly, we ended the day with their first dance in the Mount Stephen hall. Myles & Stephanie, I want to thank both of you for being wonderful. What an adventure it was! I'll never forget this. I'm forever grateful.
