If you remember, a few months ago, I announced on instagram that I would be offering anniversary sessions. (As in wedding anniversary. Not to be confused with birthdays) I am officially a wedding anniversary photographer in OttawaHow did this idea came about ? It came about when I was reflecting on my own marriage and how well documented our lives were as a couple from our first date to our wedding day. And then, nada! We don’t have much of any meaningful photos of us after that.It begs the question; why do we put so much emphasis on the start of a marriage and not the actual marriage itself. Light bulb moment. Documenting marriage is the root of my passion for wedding photography. Hence why my new business venture has made me so excited.I couldn’t had been more happy that Brad and Heather’s daughter, Sydney, who was a bridesmaid at one of my weddings, reached out to me and booked a session as a gift to her parents.You know what I found while hanging out with them? It felt as if time hadn’t passed and they were still dating. You wouldn't know it's there thirty third wedding anniversary.
