They're probably hidden gems where you live. Historic houses, museums, gardens etc are easily and cheaply accessible. They make for a gorgeous walk around the property and you get to have a bit of a Jane Austen feel background in your photos. Ontario has so many parks, rivers, lakes, waterfalls and conservation areas. My friend google never fails to help when searching.

What to do on your engagement

Also, you can choose to literally tell your love story through imagery. Where was your first date? Where did you get engaged? Did you write love letters to each other? Bring them to your session as proof of what has unfolded.Think of what you would want to do with your fiancée on the weekend. This casts a very wide net. From wine tasting to canoe on a lake etc. The possibilities are endless. Ask yourselves: what do we like to do together for fun ? Where do we feel comfortable and relaxed?
