Every since Stephanie and Jethro met me for coffee, I was impatiently waiting for their Orchard View wedding in Manotick. Stephanie's Truvelle gown was one of a kind. An empire waist wedding dress with a beautiful bow in the back. It matched perfectly her taupe and cream bouquet.Being an calligrapher, I assumed Steph would do an incredible job for her own wedding. But what she did was beyond the scope of my imagination. The amount of forethought it took to pull it off was mind blowing. Hand written thank you card for every single guests, hand written vows, wedding ceremony programs and so much more.The bride and groom decided to have a first look where the groom had a first glance at his bride before the ceremony. Jethro's reaction was so sweet and sincere. We walked around the beautiful grounds of Orchard View for bride and groom photos.They decided to sign their marriage certificate before their ceremony. A trend I've noticed a lot this year. In a private suite with their bridal party, they all prayed together and made their commitment official. An incredible moment they will always treasure.Having met at Queen's University in Kingston through becoming Christians, sharing their faith through their love story has touched many people in their lives. Their faith was present in every aspect of their wedding day.After dinner, we went outside for some sunset bride and groom portraits. I couldn't be more excited to have clients who are willing to give me what I need for the best possible photos. Their trust is something I deeply value. It was just like their Downton Ottawa engagement photos but even better.Stephanie and Jethro, I cannot thank you both enough for letting me in such a beautiful and intimate day. Your wedding day was a reflection of who you both are.
