Mooney's bay engagement

Having recently purchased a home together near Mooney's bay beach, Julia thought it would be so special to have a Mooney's bay engagement. Where they go to take walks together and drive by every single day. Just like that, I was in for sunset beach engagement photos.Being an Ottawa wedding photographer, I'm always on the hunt for the best location and light for my couples. That precious and oh so stunning golden hour has been a favourite this season. It warms up skin tones and creates a halo of light over my couple's hair. We typically start one hour and a half before the sun completely disappears.During their Mooney's bay engagement, I was reminded of their love story. Yannick and Julia met online. Yannick's profile photo stood out to her as he wasn't trying to impress or had a photo of his car like so many others do. It's Yannick's gentle soul and humble attitude that sparked that first encounter. They have been inseparable ever since then.He popped the question after a hike in the woods at Wakefield Mill. (Where they will be getting married this September.) Instead of saying "Will you marry me?" he was so nervous that he said in french "Would you like to hang out with me for a really long time? Yes Julia does want to hang out with Yannick for a very long time.
