Delta hotel wedding in Kingston
This Delta hotel wedding in Kingston was one I had been waiting for for almost two years. They were referred to me by their friend Janita who happens to be a Kingston wedding photographer. Referrals like this really touches my heart especially coming from a photographer I admire so much. The bride's bouquet was filled with creams, reds and plenty of greenery. It complemented this fall inspired wedding stunningly. The burgundy and gold accents with the bridesmaids dresses and the ballroom decor was the perfect touch for this elegant hotel wedding. In the morning, the bride opened a gift from her groom that she won't soon forget. A brand new camera. But the true gift was the video she played on the camera. Derek had recorded himself saying a few words that made everyone in the room cry. Everyone. For bride and groom photos we had to change our original plans. Queen's university being close to there hearts, it was the perfect backup plan in case of rain on their wedding day and rain it did.Every Kingston photographer knows that Summerhill is the place for wedding photos. I'm sure there is plenty of Queen's university wedding in Kingston during the summer. This classic and elegant affair was one for the books. They held their reception at the Grandview ballroom. They danced in front of friends and family and had speeches with so much heart and laughter. It was so special to witness this much love and support in one ballroom.Derek and Lindsay, I can't thank you enough for having me on your day. The honor was entirely my own and I'm so excited to see what your futures hold. I'm hoping to see what Derek wrote come to fruition. (cough, cough, wink, wink!)
